Senior Manager, direct report to VP HR.

  • Created a responsive, high-performance strategic staffing function that made Spike transition from start-up manufacturer to employer of choice in wireless broadband industry (230 employees in US, Europe, Latin America, Pacific Rim, with $500M German and Danish telecom contract).
  • Assisted with integration of 40-person acquisition in 2001. Analyzed job levels, skills and compensation equity.  Adjusted recruiting strategy to encompass major shift in business model.
  • Counseled management during two RIFs to ensure key skills retained while meeting legal requirements.  Provided employee relations and career transition support.  Mentored HR staff.
